Our approach

We draw from the work of King’s College School, Wimbledon, in delivering an excellent curriculum underlined by strong values, in addition to teaching Thai studies, Outdoor Learning and Mandarin.

Supporting the transition from early years

Key Stage 1 is the transition between the early years centre and primary school in thailand. Our expectations become more academic, but our philosophy does not change and we continue to provide the children with a friendly environment where everyone is challenged to improve. We still have a learning focus which encourages children to think, be creative and develop problem-solving skills.

Learning-centred approach

We provide a rich and diverse range of learning opportunities to stimulate, challenge and support each student's learning at a level appropriate to their ability. Lessons are more subject-based through mini topics, with numeracy and literacy lessons taught daily. Mandarin, art, sports and music specialist teachers as well as Thai language and culture teachers extend our children's interests and skills.

The King’s Bangkok Co-curricular Programme

Our students are also given opportunities to take part in clubs and societies during lunchtimes as well as CCA (co-curricular activities) and ECA (extra-curricular activities) in the afternoons.
