Admissions FAQs
King’s College International School Bangkok accepts applications all year round and entry can be for term one, term two or term three.
Step One
If you have never contacted the school before, you are required to complete a registration of interest which you can do here.
Step Two
Once you have completed the registration of interest, you will get a welcome message from us. You will then need to complete the application form online. You can complete this by using your registered email address to log in to our online portal here. If you have any difficulties with this process, please contact our admissions team for assistance either by email at admissions@kingsbangkok.ac.th or call us at 02 481 9955.
Once we have received your child’s application, we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient assessment date. Shortly following the assessment we will contact your family to confirm the outcome of the assessment.
If successful, your family will receive an official letter of offer for your child, along with a date by which you need to accept the place offered and the date for payment of the registration fee.
If your child has been unsuccessful in his or her assessment, we will let you know via telephone.
If your child has been successful but we need to place her or him on a waitlist, we will also inform you via telephone and email. Parents of children who are placed on the waitlist will need to pay a waitlist fee of 225,000 baht to confirm their interest in securing a place once one becomes available. When a place becomes available, this waitlist fee is transferred and will act as the registration fee. If a place is not available within 12 months of being placed on the waitlist, the waitlist fee will be refunded in full, or parents can request to remain on the waitlist and the waitlist fee will be refunded at a later date if a place is not available.
