Uniform and PE kit

Our policy on school uniform is based on the belief that school uniform:

  • promotes a sense of pride in King’s Bangkok
  • helps to create a sense of community and belonging towards the school
  • identifies the students with the school
  • is practical, comfortable, smart and designed with health and safety in mind
  • enables students from different phases to be identified
  • enables the award of an aspect of dress that denotes achievement
  • promotes equality amongst all students.

Makeup

Boys must observe the following guidelines.

  • Hair is expected to be tidy, of natural colour and of reasonable length (neither too long nor inappropriately short, shaven or with any form of shaved pattern).
  • Piercings are not permitted. However, if a piercing has been recently made, the school will permit a boy to wear a stud until the piercing has healed, provided that a plaster is used to cover the stud at all times in school.
  • Body art on any visible part of the body when the student is taking part in any aspect of school life is not permitted.

Girls must observe the following guidelines.

  • Jewellery is not permitted unless it is of special religious significance. Only a single earring may be worn in each earlobe.
  • Body art on any visible part of the body when the student is taking part in any aspect of school life is not permitted.
