- King’s Bangkok works closely with King’s Wimbledon, the Top Boys’ or Co-educational School in the UK (and London) by the Sunday Times (2017–2022), as we seek to build on their success of almost 200 years of excellence in education. King’s Bangkok develops well-rounded, confident and happy girls and boys who will make a positive difference to their communities. We do this by placing equal emphasis on:
- A rigorous academic curriculum was developed with the King’s Wimbledon team. The King’s curriculum has a proven track record of producing academic excellence as well as creative alumni who go on to have success in a wide range of fields.
- An extensive co-curricular programme which offers a wide range of clubs, societies and activities to provide children with a varied and exciting school week. These involve lunchtime activities, compulsory activities within their timetable, and optional activities after school for children in Reception and upwards.
- A bespoke pastoral care system which gives children the support and guidance to become successful and happy adults. The tutor and house systems work to give children a sense of community and purpose so that they enjoy coming to school and have a network of people to go to in times of need.
- We are situated in the prestigious Ratchada–Rama 3 area of Bangkok, with easy access to the financial district and the city centre.
- We have world-class, purpose-built facilities to support students’ learning from the age of 2 to 18. The facilities include a sports complex boasting an Olympic-size swimming pool, a 625-seat auditorium and specialist science labs, design technology studios, music and art classrooms, as well as a bespoke Early Years Centre with outstanding outdoor & indoor learning areas and Sixth Form Centre dedicated space for the last two final year groups in the Senior School.
- At capacity, the school will cater to over 1,500 students from Pre-nursery to Year 13 (ages 2–18).
- At King’s College International School Bangkok, we take safeguarding extremely seriously. We have the philosophy that doing nothing is not an option.
- Our curriculum is of ‘outstanding quality’ (The British Schools Overseas Inspection and International Schools Quality Mark Accreditation Report 2024), being adapted from King's College School, Wimbledon and the UK national curriculum, starting with the Early Years Foundation Stage and leading to IGCSEs, A levels and leading universities.
- We open our doors to students in August each year with a student-centred and value-led curriculum for both girls and boys.
- Please note that there are admissions criteria, testing and interviews. Waitlists may apply in certain year groups.
