With consideration to summer-born children

The route for all children aged 2–3 years who wish to join the King's Bangkok Early Years where pre-nursery classes are based. Applications can be made online through the school website. Please fill in all sections of the application form and submit it with all requested documents. At this time, parents & carers are requested to pay the 5,000 baht application fee.

Assessment

Application Submission	N/A	Complete the online application form. Submit all required supporting documents. Pay the 5,000 baht application fee.
Assessment	Participate in group activities to assess readiness and social interaction (for Early Years). Take an online cognitive aptitude test and a creative writing task (for Primary and Senior School).	Accompany the child during the initial play session. Submit any additional supporting materials (e.g., details of learning needs, medical conditions) at this time
Interview	May be invited to work with the assessment team on simple one-to-one exercises and discuss a book or topic (for Reception applicants).	Participate in an interview during the child's assessment to discuss understanding of the school's education approach and support for developing good manners, kindness, and wisdom in children.
Offer and Acceptance	N/A	Receive the offer letter via email within seven days of the assessment. Complete, sign and return the Acceptance Form Pay the non-refundable 225,000 baht registration fee within the specified timeframe.
Next Steps	Attend school events held prior to the opening date to build the King's Bangkok community and make new friends.	Accompany the child to these events to facilitate integration into the school community.

Note:

Included in the tuition fees: 
‍Lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, EAL, co-curricular activities, clubs and societies, special education needs (within school policy), books, equipment.

Not included in the tuition fees: 
School uniform, sports kit, personal equipment or IT devices, individual music tuition, external examinations, compulsory residential trips, school day trips, school bus transportation, certain ECAs, additional special education needs support (outside the basic support provided by the school), school photographs.

Late payment charges of 1.5% per month or part thereof will be applied to payments made after the invoice due date.

In addition to the termly tuition fees and incidental fees, the school applies the following initial charges during the application process. These fees and the first term tuition fees must be paid prior to a new applicant starting his/her first term.

APPLICATION FEE		5,000 baht (non-refundable/non-transferable)
REGISTRATION FEE		225,000 baht (non-refundable/non-transferable)
WAITLIST FEE		The registration fee will act as the waitlist fee. This is for any student who has passed the admissions assessment and is placed on the school’s waitlist. When a place becomes available, this waitlist fee is transferred and will act as the registration fee. If a place is not available within 12 months of being placed on the waitlist, the waitlist fee will be refunded in full, or parents & carers can request to remain on the waitlist and the waitlist fee will be refunded at a later date if a place is not available.
SECURITY DEPOSIT		200,000 baht (refundable upon graduation and withdrawal) ‍The conditions for refund are as follows:‍ upon the student’s graduation (completion of Year 13) from the school when the written notice is received at least one full term’s notice before the child leaves. In cases of withdrawal at the end of term one, written notice is required at the beginning of term three. (A written notice form is available at the admissions office) when the school requires the applicant’s departure for reasons other than disciplinary. ‍
