With over 21,828 applications reviewed to select our teaching staff of over 216 educators, our faculty represents top-tier academic backgrounds, including graduates from leading universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, and King’s College London. Through annual joint visits, continuous peer collaboration, and shared governance, our educators participate in a dynamic international network that constantly refines and lifts the learning experience for our students.

King’s Bangkok benefits from a distinguished Board of Governors, featuring senior leadership from King’s Wimbledon and global industrial experts. Our governance is strengthened by dedicated oversight committees, including the Education Committee, which is chaired by King’s Wimbledon to ensure alignment with our high academic standards.

Our curriculum is carefully adapted and approved by King’s Wimbledon to mirror their standards of excellence, from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSEs and A-levels. We place equal importance on co-curricular life, community outreach, and the exemplary pastoral care that defines a King’s education. To maintain these benchmarks, the Wimbledon International Team conducts a comprehensive quality audit every two years. In line with the Wimbledon model, students take advantage of advanced psychometric platforms followed up by individual consultations with expert careers advisers. A data-driven approach empowers students with a clear understanding of their professional potential and future pathways. Our ambitious work experience and internship opportunities provide global insights into labour markets and the vital experience required for medicine, law and other competitive subjects.

The close collaboration between our specialist university counsellors and the Wimbledon team means that our students benefit from decades of institutional expertise and a powerful global alumni network.

Collaboration with King’s Wimbledon and its global network is a key part of our student’s journey - from exchange programmes, peer mentoring, to joint academic projects, and shared initiatives like language exchanges. We are supported each year by recent student leavers from King’s WImbledon who spend their gap year with us as Project Associates. These impressive young people are instrumental in helping us replicate the quality of academic thought of a Wimbledon experience to life for our students on a day to day basis.

King’s Wimbledon students in Year 12 act as subject mentors to students in the earlier part of the Senior School.
The Liaison Committee of the entire King’s Wimbledon family organises collaboration between King’s Wimbledon and its overseas schools in Thailand, China and Monaco. Some of our recent collaboration projects include a STEM collaboration with Year 6 students, a Maths journal project with Year 5 and 6 students, and a language exchange project led by King’s in Wuxi.

We also have gap year students on a full-time basis to help the school implement the ideas adopted from King’s Wimbledon.

Pupil collaboration between King’s Wimbledon and King’s Bangkok continues to be an important expression of the shared ethos across the King’s family of schools. Through a growing range of opportunities, pupils are able to connect with one another, learn from different perspectives and develop a stronger sense of belonging to an international community.

For example, King's Bangkok pupils took part in a successful Geography collaboration with pupils from King’s Wimbledon and the International School of Monaco. The project brought together 99 pupils from Bangkok and 157 Fourth Form pupils from Wimbledon to explore climate issues around the world.

Working in small online groups, pupils shared experiences from their own countries, discussed different environmental challenges and developed presentations proposing possible solutions. The project provided a powerful example of curriculum-led international collaboration - rooted in academic learning, while encouraging pupils to think globally, communicate independently and apply their geographical understanding beyond their own classroom.

Pupils from King’s Bangkok contributed to the King’s Arts Festival, joining pupils from China and Wimbledon in a shared photography exhibition on the theme “Our World”.

With more than 80 submissions from across the King’s family of schools, the exhibition celebrated pupil creativity, perspective and cultural awareness. It offered pupils the chance to express how they see the world around them, while also connecting their work with that of peers in other countries.

These collaborations are designed to support confidence, curiosity, pupil voice and international-mindedness. Staff at King’s Bangkok also have access to the world-class professional development know-how through the collaboration with King’s Wimbledon. For example, the Academic Focus Group sessions run by King’s Wimbledon are available for all King’s College schools, with teachers from King’s Bangkok in attendance.

Staff at King’s Bangkok also have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills with bespoke courses on preparing for middle and senior leadership run by King’s Wimbledon. These courses are run in conjunction with all schools in the King’s family, allowing staff to share their experiences across our global network of schools.

Staff collaboration across the King’s family of schools is central to the way we share expertise, strengthen practice and support professional growth. Through ongoing dialogue, shared training and purposeful development opportunities, colleagues are able to learn with and from one another across different contexts.

At King’s Bangkok, staff have engaged in a range of collaborative professional learning opportunities with King’s Wimbledon and the wider network. This has included participation in the Sapienter Leading Change course, which supports colleagues to think deeply about leadership, change management and the practical steps needed to bring about meaningful improvement in schools.

Colleagues have also benefited from shared senior leadership training, including joint away-day work focused on school development, strategic thinking and the continued strengthening of King’s educational principles in an international context. These opportunities help build a shared language around leadership, teaching and learning, while recognising the importance of each school’s individual context.

Alongside formal training, regular communication between colleagues across the network supports the development of strong professional relationships. This ongoing collaboration enables staff to exchange ideas, share resources, discuss emerging priorities and develop supportive, developmental pathways that help colleagues grow in their roles.
