Music as a part of a well-rounded education.

Music as a part of a well-rounded education.

At King's College International School Bangkok, we have designed 16 music practice rooms, divided into 14 private rehearsal rooms and 2 larger classrooms. They can be used for a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, violin, ukulele, drums, and others. In addition to being used in lessons, the other 2 rehearsal rooms are designed so that children can learn and discover what they like and practise ahead of a performance.

If you visit our campus in the afternoon, you will see our students enjoying learning music as part of the Co-curricular programme (CCAs and ECAs). Apart from being a fun activity, music also contributes to the development of the brain’s right side, which controls imagination and emotional intelligence. It also contributes to the development of the brain’s left side, which controls memory and systematic thinking. This has a positive impact on the educational progress of our students.

By placing importance on developing skills outside of the classroom, as well as focusing on academic excellence, our students will leave King’s Bangkok as well-rounded young men and women with great hearts.
