On Wednesday at King’s Bangkok International school, we had Mufti Day where children and staff wore their own clothes, instead of school uniform, not only for fun, but for a good cause. If a student or staff decided to wear their own clothes, they had to make a donation to the Movember Foundation, a charity that is ‘changing the face of men’s health on a global scale’. There was also a march in the morning in which students donned their masks, which they had personalised with moustaches of all shapes and sizes, and in total, we raised 50,546 Baht.

We are proud to support such a charity and we thank all of our students for donating. It is an honour and a delight to be able to create activities that promote kindness because we believe that giving will help our students to grow up into well-rounded young adults.

เมื่อวันพุธที่คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ เราได้จัดกิจกรรม Mufti Day ขึ้นอีกครั้ง ซึ่งเป็นวันที่เปิดโอกาสให้เด็ก ๆ และคุณครูได้เลือกใส่เสื้อผ้าของตัวเองแทนการใส่ชุดนักเรียน โดยเด็ก ๆ หรือคุณครูที่เลือกใส่เสื้อผ้าของตัวเองมาจะต้องบริจาคเงินเพื่อเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยน ครั้งนี้เราได้ยอดเงินบริจาครวมทั้งสิ้น 50,546 บาท และนำไปมอบให้กับ Movember องค์กรการกุศลที่คอยช่วยเหลือโครงการต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสุขภาพของผู้ชายซึ่งมีเครือข่ายอยู่ทั่วโลก

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพภูมิใจที่ได้เห็นเด็ก ๆ มีส่วนร่วมในการให้ เรายินดีที่ได้สร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมที่ช่วยหล่อหลอมให้พวกเขามีจิตใจที่มีเมตตาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ เพราะเราเชื่อว่าการให้จะมีส่วนช่วยให้พวกเขาเติบโตเป็นหนุ่มสาวที่มีคุณภาพของสังคมต่อไป
