King’s Bangkok A level & GCSE Art & Textiles Exhibition 2026

King’s Bangkok A level & GCSE Art & Textiles Exhibition 2026

Last week marked the culmination of our A level Art and GCSE Art and Textiles courses with the visit of our moderator. The exhibition space has been transformed into a truly outstanding showcase of creativity, innovation, and technical excellence.

“I could not be more proud of every student and the remarkable outcomes they have produced.” Claire Hackett, Head of Art (Senior School)

What makes this year’s exhibition particularly exceptional is the breadth and depth of personal investigation on display. Students have explored an extraordinary range of themes, materials, and processes, creating highly individual and thought-provoking outcomes. Alongside traditional fine art and textile techniques, students have embraced contemporary practices, including VR experiences, video installation, sound, layered projections, mixed media, and immersive environments to bring their ideas to life.

These outcomes are a reflection not only of the students’ dedication and ambition, but also of the exceptional teaching, specialist facilities, and extensive resources available within the department. From ceramics and printmaking to digital media and large-scale installation, students are encouraged to experiment fearlessly, think critically, and develop ambitious personal responses within a professional studio environment.
