Silver Award — Oppidan Mentoring Awards 2026
King’s Bangkok has won an award for its student-led mentoring programmes. The school received a Silver Award in the Oppidan Mentoring Awards 2026. Judges noted that there was ‘strong evidence of mentoring growing across the whole-school culture’.
Our school runs three mentoring programmes: internal peer mentoring, inter-school mentoring with King’s Wimbledon and Oppidan Education’s external mentoring. The internal peer mentoring is run by Sixth Form students who are part of the Senior Academic Leadership Team (SALT). Students meet regularly to support each other across a range of subjects.
Sixth Form students have helped develop this programme over the past two years, with support from Nisreen Dawkins, Head of Lower School and Mark Beales, Assistant Director of Sixth Form and Deputy Head of English.
