Excellence in Science Learning for All – ASE Asia Conference 2026

Join us on Friday, 20 March 2026, at King’s College International School Bangkok for the ASE Conference South East Asia — an annual event hosted in Bangkok, Thailand by a network of international schools.

The conference features world-leading speakers, including Professor Louise Archer, President of the ASE and Karl Mannheim Professor of Sociology of Education at UCL, who will deliver the keynote address. Delegates will also lead workshops across a wide range of topics in science pedagogy.

Designed by educators for educators, the programme offers CPD opportunities relevant to today’s teachers and their working contexts. The event also provides a chance to connect with the region’s leading teachers and suppliers, building a network of supportive contacts that extends well beyond the one-day conference.

This year, the conference welcomes all science educators — from KS1 (ages 5–7) to KS5 (ages 18) — as it strives for Excellence in Science Education for All.

Another highlight is the Philip Harris Technician Strand, led by Jaquiline McKie. It provides technicians with high-quality CPD, covering topics from the safe storage of glassware and chemicals to practicals such as Planck’s Constant and Brownian motion. This year, more places are available for technicians, with workshops run by technicians for technicians.

We are also thrilled to welcome Matt Endean, Deputy Director of CLEAPSS, the UK’s leading advisory service for science and technology, who will run three dedicated workshops throughout the day.

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ขอเชิญผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมงานประชุมวิชาการ ASE Conference South East Asia ในวันศุกร์ที่ 20 มีนาคม 2569 ณ โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ซึ่งเป็นการประชุมวิชาการที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี ณ กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย โดยเครือข่ายโรงเรียนนานาชาติ

การประชุมครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการแบ่งปันและแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ โดยมีวิทยากรชั้นนำระดับโลกด้านการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์จากหลากหลายสาขา โดยครั้งนี้ เราได้รับเกียรติจากศาสตราจารย์ลูอิส อาร์เชอร์ ประธานของ Association for Science Education (ASE) และ Karl Mannheim ศาสตราจารย์ด้าน Sociology of Education จาก University College London (UCL)  ที่จะมานำการบรรยาย เตรียมพบกับหัวข้อสัมมนาที่เข้มข้นและเวิร์กช็อปหลากหลายรูปแบบโดยนักการศึกษาเพื่อนักการศึกษา ผู้เข้าร่วมงานจะได้นำการจัดเวิร์กช็อปด้วยตนเองในหัวข้อที่หลากหลายครอบคลุมทั้งหลักสูตรและการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์ การพัฒนาวิชาชีพ (CPD) ที่ตรงกับความต้องการของครูผู้สอนในปัจจุบัน ผ่านกิจกรรมที่จะช่วยพัฒนาทักษะและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานให้กับผู้สอนทุกท่าน พร้อมโอกาสในการสร้างเครือข่ายกับครูผู้สอนและซัพพลายเออร์ชั้นนำในภูมิภาค เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายการสนับสนุนที่ยั่งยืน แม้หลังจบการประชุมไปแล้วก็ตาม

ปีนี้ การประชุมยินดีต้อนรับนักการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์ทุกระดับ ตั้งแต่ระดับประถมศึกษาตอนต้น (KS1: อายุ 5-7 ปี) ไปจนถึงระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (KS5: อายุ 18 ปี) ภายใต้ปณิธานในการมุ่งสู่ "ความเป็นเลิศในการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์สำหรับทุกคน"

การอบรมสำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิคโดยเฉพาะ

อีกหนึ่งไฮไลต์คือ การอบรมจากเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิคของ Philip Harris Technician Strand นำโดย แจ็กเกอลีน แม็คกี ซึ่งเป็นการมอบโอกาสในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพคุณภาพสูงสำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิคโดยเฉพาะ โดยครอบคลุมหัวข้อต่าง ๆ ตั้งแต่การจัดเก็บเครื่องแก้วและสารเคมีอย่างปลอดภัย ไปจนถึงภาคปฏิบัติเชิงลึก เช่น ค่าคงที่ของพลังค์ (Planck’s Constant) และการเคลื่อนที่แบบบราวน์ (Brownian motion)

ปีนี้มีการเพิ่มจำนวนที่นั่งสำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิค และเวิร์กช็อปจะดำเนินการโดยเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิคเพื่อเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิคด้วยกันเอง
