Sharing warmth and kindness—Students lead charity for children in Mae Hong Son

At King’s Bangkok, we believe that kindness shapes individuals and drives positive change in society. It is one of the core values we nurture in our students. Over the past year, our students have brought these values to life through heartfelt and impactful initiatives.

One inspiring project, “Blanket of Warmth”, saw students come together to create artwork in their free time, raising funds to provide blankets for underprivileged children in Mae Hong Son province, through the Hearts and Blankets Foundation. The artworks were proudly displayed and sold at the “Christmas Came Early This Year” event, organised by the Parents of King’s Bangkok. Thanks to the generosity and teamwork of all involved, the project raised over 100,000 Thai Baht, providing warmth and comfort to vulnerable children during winter.

We are incredibly proud of our students for leading such a meaningful initiative. Their compassion, creativity, and leadership continue to inspire us all.

ตลอดปีที่ผ่านมา เราได้เห็นคุณค่าเหล่านี้สะท้อนออกมาอย่างชัดเจนผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่นักเรียนของเราได้ริเริ่มขึ้นด้วยความตั้งใจและความมุ่งมั่น หนึ่งในโครงการอันน่าประทับใจคือ “Blanket of Warmth (ผ้าห่ม ให้น้องอุ่น)” ซึ่งเกิดจากความตั้งใจของนักเรียนที่ใช้เวลาว่างร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ เพื่อนำมาระดมทุนจัดซื้อผ้าห่มไปมอบให้กับเด็ก ๆ ในจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ผ่านมูลนิธิ Hearts and Blankets นอกจากนี้ นักเรียนยังได้นำผลงานไปร่วมจัดแสดงและจำหน่ายในงาน “Christmas Came Early This Year” ซึ่งจัดโดย Parents of King’s Bangkok และด้วยความร่วมแรงร่วมใจของทุกฝ่าย ทำให้สามารถระดมทุนได้มากกว่า 100,000 บาท เพื่อจัดซื้อผ้าห่มและแบ่งปันความอบอุ่นให้กับเด็กกลุ่มเปราะบางในจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ รู้สึกภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่งที่ได้เห็นนักเรียนของเราริเริ่มโครงการดี ๆ เช่นนี้ ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงจิตใจที่เปี่ยมด้วยเมตตา ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และ ความเป็นผู้นำ ในการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับสังคมต่อไปในอนาคต
