At King's Bangkok, we ensure a fully integrated science pathway from the very beginning. For us, the transition is more than just the shift between different sections of the school; it represents the continuous development of our students. One way we capture the magic and fun of science is through “The Science Carousel”. This initiative allows students to rotate through various hands-on science experiments within their classrooms. It provides our young learners with the opportunity to explore, question, and experiment in a fun and interactive environment. Throughout the week, our Year 1-2 students engaged in a variety of captivating experiments, from Black Magic Chromatography to the Ice Melting Race, designed to spark curiosity and ignite their passion for science. These simple yet effective experiments demonstrated the principles of density and buoyancy. The Science Carousel exemplifies our commitment to making science education an exciting and dynamic experience for our students. By engaging in these hands-on activities, our young scientists develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts while nurturing their natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

ที่คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ เราตั้งใจออกแบบการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ให้เป็นเหมือนการเดินทางที่เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ Early Years ไปจนถึง Senior School และปลูกฝังการใฝ่รู้สู่ปัญญาให้ติดตัวเด็ก ๆ ของเรากิจกรรม The Science Carousel ที่ผ่านมา เปิดโอกาสให้ระดับชั้น Year 1 และ Year 2ได้ลงมือทดลองวิทยาศาสตร์กันจริง ๆ ในชั้นเรียนตลอดทั้งสัปดาห์ ทำให้เด็ก ๆ ได้มีส่วนร่วมกับการทดลองวิทยาศาสตร์อันน่าทึ่ง ตั้งแต่การแยกส่วนประกอบของน้ำหมึกสีดำไปจนถึงการวัดความเร็วในการทำละลายน้ำแข็ง ซึ่งทำให้พวกเขาเกิดความสงสัย อยากรู้อยากเห็น ฝึกตั้งคำถาม ทำความเข้าใจ และเรียนรู้การทดลองกันอย่างสนุกสนานไปกับเครื่องมือทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์เบื้องต้น ซึ่งช่วยสร้างความคุ้นเคยในการใช้เครื่องมือทางวิทยาศาสตร์ พร้อมต่อยอดการเรียนรู้ในระดับที่สูงขึ้น แม้การทดลองวิทยาศาสตร์ในระดับ Primary School จะเป็นการทดลองง่าย ๆ แต่การได้ลงมือเพื่อเรียนรู้และทำความเข้าใจในสิ่งที่พวกเขาเคยเห็นหรือเรียนมาจะช่วยสร้างประสบการณ์ที่แปลกใหม่และน่าจดจำให้กับการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ของพวกเขา ทั้งนี้การได้มีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมเช่นนี้ทำให้เหล่านักวิทยาศาสตร์รุ่นเยาว์พัฒนาความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นเกี่ยวกับแนวคิดทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ในขณะเดียวกันก็ปลุกความหลงใหลและความใฝ่รู้ในวิทยาศาสตร์ในตัวพวกเขาอีกด้วย
