High School Musical at King’s Bangkok

From Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st of March, King’s College International School Bangkok held its very own “High School Musical on Stage!”. The feel-good theatre sensation sold out for 3 nights, proving the success of many months of hard work and rehearsing. Not only were the performances by students spectacular but also the lighting design by one of our Year 12 students wowed attendees. Our team of students and teachers together showed the magic of combining different elements of music, art, dancing, performance and backstage preparation to create an amazing performance for all audiences.

King’s Bangkok would like to thank Mr O’Neil, Mr Quadros, Ms Tutton and Mr O'Halloran, our acting, music and movement directors respectively who invested so much of their time on top of their usual lessons to help. Furthermore, we would like to thank the other members of staff who worked together on the musical. We believe that standing ovations from the audience will motivate our students to pursue their passions.

จบไปแล้วอย่างสวยงามกับการแสดงละครเวที “High School Musical on Stage!” ที่โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา กับการแสดงประจำปีที่หลายคนตั้งตารอจนที่นั่งใน The Great Hall เต็มตลอดทั้งสามรอบ จากการเตรียมงานและฝึกซ้อมตลอดช่วงหลายเดือนที่ผ่านมา ทั้งการแสดง ร้อง เล่น เต้น อันน่าประทับใจของเหล่านักเรียน การออกแบบแสง สี บนเวที โดยนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 12 ของเราที่ทำให้คนดูต่างตื่นตาตื่นใจ การร่วมมือกันของทีมครู และนักเรียนในการสร้างสรรค์องค์ประกอบอื่น ๆ เข้าด้วยกันอย่างลงตัว ไม่ว่าจะดนตรี ศิลปะ การแสดง เวที อุปกรณ์ประกอบฉากต่าง ๆ และการเตรียมตัวเบื้องหลังเวทีการแสดง เพื่อสร้างการแสดงที่เต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยพลังทำให้คนดูได้ทึ่งไม่แพ้การแสดงละครเวทีจากมืออาชีพเลย

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพขอขอบคุณผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังทุกคนที่มีส่วนร่วมกับการแสดงอันยอดเยี่ยมนี้ โดยเฉพาะคุณครูจอร์จ โอนีล ครูหัวหน้าแผนกวิชาการแสดง ครูอลัน ควอดรอส ครูหัวหน้าแผนกวิชาดนตรี ครูซาร่าห ธัทเทิล ครูหัวหน้าแผนกวิชาจิตวิทยา ซึ่งมาช่วยกำกับและดูแลการออกแบบการเต้น คุณครูเคียรัน โอฮัลโลแรน หัวหน้าแผนกการแสดง รวมไปถึงทีมครูจากแผนกการแสดงและดนตรีทุกท่านที่ได้สละเวลาส่วนตัวของพวกเขา เพื่อช่วยในการเตรียมการแสดงในครั้งนี้ให้สำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดี เราเชื่อว่าเสียงปรบมือของทุกท่านที่ดังกึกก้องในทุก ๆ รอบการแสดงจะเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนให้นักเรียนของเรามั่นใจและกล้าทำในสิ่งที่พวกเขารักต่อไป
