King’s Bangkok recently hosted the Inter-house Maths Challenge for students in Years 7-8. This engaging event featured intricate mathematical problems that tested their abilities within a limited time frame, covering various mathematical concepts. Beyond assessing mathematical skills, the competition emphasised memory and problem-solving related to numbers. Students not only enhanced their mathematical knowledge and skills but also learned the values of teamwork and accomplishment.

Notably, senior students enthusiastically participated, aiding younger peers and cheering for their houses. With support from the Head of the House and teachers, the event fostered a collaborative spirit, testing both mathematical prowess and problem-solving abilities.

เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพจัดการแข่งขัน Inter-house Maths Challenge สำหรับนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 7-8 โดยเด็ก ๆ ต้องแก้โจทย์และทำแบบทดสอบทางคณิตศาสตร์ที่ท้าทายความสามารถของพวกเขาในเวลาอันจำกัดกับคำถามทางคณิตศาสตร์หลากหลายระดับ ซึ่งการทดสอบในครั้งนี้ ไม่ได้ใช้เพียงทักษะทางคณิตศาสตร์ แต่ยังทดสอบความจำ ไปจนถึงการแก้ไขปัญหาเชาว์เกี่ยวกับตัวเลขอีกด้วย ทั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เด็ก ๆ จะได้พัฒนาความรู้ และทักษะทางคณิตศาสตร์ของพวกเขา แต่ในขณะเดียวกันยังได้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของการทำงานเป็นทีม ตลอดจนการแบ่งปันความสำเร็จร่วมกันอีกด้วย

นอกจากนี้ นักเรียนรุ่นพี่ในระดับชั้นอื่น ๆ ยังได้มาร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อช่วยน้อง ๆ ร่วมบ้านในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ และให้กำลังใจพวกเขาตลอดการแข่งขัน รวมไปถึง Head of House และครูท่านอื่น ๆ จากแต่ละ House ก็ได้มาให้กำลังใจ และช่วยเด็ก ๆ อีกแรง ก่อให้เกิดเป็นภาพของการร่วมแรงร่วมใจของทุก ๆ คนเพื่อให้การแข่งขันสำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยดี การแข่งขันในครั้งนี้จึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่การทดสอบทักษะทางคณิตศาสตร์เท่านั้น แต่ยังช่วยส่งเสริมมิตรภาพ และความสามัคคีในหมู่นักเรียนของเราอีกด้วย
