King's Bangkok celebrates the Year of the Dragon

Today, at King's College International School Bangkok, we celebrated the Lunar New Year with great enthusiasm. Our Senior Leadership Team, led by Executive Principal Mrs Sarah Raffray, distributed oranges—the auspicious fruit of the Lunar New Year—to everyone, enhancing the festive spirit. The atmosphere was vibrant as both students and staff adorned themselves in Chinese traditional attire to welcome the Lunar New Year.

In addition, students from House Major actively participated in a Chinese New Year-themed snack sale to raise funds for the Camillian Home for Children Living With Disabilities. A huge thank you to our Mandarin department who organised today’s activities. It is so important that children learn about Chinese culture as part of a well-rounded education, and we place great importance on creating a unique celebratory atmosphere at King’s Bangkok.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ เฉลิมฉลองวันตรุษจีนหรือวันปีใหม่ของจีนเมื่อช่วงเช้าวันนี้ โดย คณะครูผู้บริหาร นำโดย มิสซิสซาร่า ราฟเฟรย์ ครูผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ของเราได้มอบส้มสีทอง หนึ่งในผลไม้มงคลของเทศกาลตรุษจีน เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล อีกทั้งโรงเรียนยังได้จัดกิจกรรมมากมาย ทำให้บรรยากาศในวันนี้เต็มไปด้วยความน่าตื่นเต้น โดยนักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง คุณครู และบุคลากรต่างแต่งกายด้วยชุดสีมงคลเพื่อต้อนรับเทศกาลตรุษจีน

โดยนักเรียนจากบ้าน Major ยังมาร่วมกิจกรรมขายขนมในธีมวันตรุษจีน เพื่อระดมทุนไปมอบให้แก่สถานสงเคราะห์เด็กบ้านคามิลเลียน เราขอขอบคุณคุณครูจากแผนกภาษาจีนที่ได้ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันสำคัญนี้ เพื่อเป็นการอวยพรให้แก่ครอบครั้วคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ และให้เด็ก ๆ ได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมของชาวจีนซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างการเรียนรู้อย่างครบถ้วนรอบด้าน ทำให้ตรุษจีนในปีนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งวันที่น่าจดจำกับบรรยากาศการเฉลิมฉลองตรุษจีนในแบบฉบับของคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ
