Senior School Project Week: Year 9 students' entrepreneurial showcase

Recently, King’s Bangkok organised the Senior School Project Week, where our Year 9 students took on the roles of new entrepreneurs, competing to present business ideas with equal starting funds. The inspiration for this activity came from the business reality show 'Shark Tank.' Students collaborated to develop their business plans before pitching their ideas to the school’s own Sharks and hitting the market. The products were showcased and sold at the Senior School Project Fair in the same week. Teams were evaluated based on various criteria, such as marketing strategy, product quality, and potential for business growth.

In the end, the proceeds from the students' business ventures in this event were donated to Second Chance Bangkok, a social organisation supporting residents of Klong Toey, Bangkok. This initiative aims to make a positive impact on the development of the Klong Toey community.

เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพจัดกิจกรรม Senior School Project Week ที่เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 9 ได้ทดลองเป็นผู้ประกอบการมือใหม่ ผลัดกันนำเสนอไอเดียทางธุรกิจด้วยต้นทุนเท่า ๆ กัน ซึ่งกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากรายการเรียลลิตี้โชว์เชิงธุรกิจ ‘Shark Tank’ โดยเด็ก ๆ ได้ระดมความคิดเพื่อวางแผนธุรกิจและนำเสนอโดยมีครูสวมบทบาทเป็นนักลงทุน ซึ่งสินค้าของพวกเขาได้ถูกวางขายใน Senior School Project Fair ในสัปดาห์เดียวกัน นอกจากนี้ หลังจากวางขายสินค้าแต่ละทีมต่างได้รับการประเมินในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ กลยุทธ์การตลาด คุณภาพของสินค้า และศักยภาพในการเติบโตของธุรกิจ เป็นต้น

โดยรายได้จากการทำธุรกิจของนักเรียนในครั้งนี้ ได้นำไปบริจาคแก่มูลนิธิ Second Chance Bangkok เพื่อนำไปพัฒนากิจกรรมเสริมสร้างรายได้ให้กับชุมชนคลองเตยต่อไป
