Full of kindness on Valentine’s Day at King’s Bangkok

Today, the atmosphere at King's College International School Bangkok is full of warmth. Students from Senior School’s Layton and Primary School’s Hanuman Houses organised Mufti Day activities by inviting everyone to dress in red or pink and to bring donations to the Chaiyapruk Foundation to help and support education for other children in the foundation.

In addition, other students and members of King’s Bangkok community also raised funds for other charities. For example, a group of students in our Operation Smile, one of the ECA clubs at King’s Bangkok, has been raising money to donate to the organisation ‘Operation Smile Thailand’ to help underprivileged students to be able to smile again.

On top of the Mufti Day, several activities were held on our campus. Everyone passed on friendliness to each other, with some expressing it through heart stickers, chocolates, lollipops or nice messages to celebrate the day of love. King's Bangkok is glad to see our students enjoying spreading the love to everyone around them. Happy Valentine's Day!

ในวันนี้ บรรยากาศที่โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น นักเรียนจากบ้าน Layton และ Hanuman ซึ่งมีสีแดงเป็นสีประจำบ้าน ได้จัดกิจกรรม Mufti Day ขึ้น โดยเชิญชวนให้ทุกคนแต่งกายด้วยชุดสีแดงหรือสีชมพู เพื่อนำเงินบริจาคไปมอบให้กับมูลนิธิชัยพฤกษ์ เพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาให้กับเด็กคนอื่น ๆ ต่อไป

นอกจากนี้ นักเรียนและครอบครัวคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ยังได้ระดมทุนเพื่อการกุศลอีกหนึ่งแห่ง โดย Operation Smile หนึ่งใน ECAs ของเรา ที่ระดมทุนจากการจัดกิจกรรมอย่างสม่ำเสมอตลอดทั้งปี เพื่อมอบเงินบริจาคให้กับมูลนิธิสร้างรอยยิ้ม (Operation Smile Thailand) อีกด้วย

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ดีใจที่ได้เห็นนักเรียนของเราต่างมอบความรักให้แก่กัน บ้างก็แสดงออกผ่านสติ๊กเกอร์รูปหัวใจ ช็อกโกแลต อมยิ้ม หรือข้อความดี ๆ พร้อมกับมีความสุขที่ได้แจกจ่ายความรักให้แก่คนรอบข้างด้วย
