On Friday, 27th January, King’s College International School Bangkok was honoured to welcome 246 blood donors to our campus and have 197 units donated to the Thai Red Cross. With their support, we managed to have a truly meaningful day. As Thailand continues to face a shortage of donors, we recognise the great importance of donating blood, as it can help save countless lives. We were delighted to learn that there were many kind hearts, regardless of profession or wealth, who were able to join the Thai Red Cross and us last week.

For those who would have liked to attend but could not make it, there are opportunities to donate blood across Thailand. We should all be generous to those in need in our society and give back where possible.

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ผ่านมา โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพได้ต้อนรับผู้บริจาคโลหิตจำนวน 246 ท่าน และได้ปริมาณเลือดทั้งสิ้น 197 ยูนิต แก่สภากาชาดไทย นับว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งวันที่มีความหมายสำหรับพวกเราทุกคน ตามที่ทุกท่านอาจจะได้ทราบว่าประเทศไทยต้องเผชิญกับภาวะขาดแคลนโลหิตในช่วงที่ผ่านมา คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพจึงเห็นความสำคัญของการบริจาคโลหิตที่จะช่วยต่อลมหายใจให้แก่อีกหลายชีวิตในสังคมของเราต่อไป เรามีความยินดีที่ได้เห็นทุกท่านที่มีจิตใจเมตตามาร่วมกับเราและสภากาชาดไทยในการบริจาคโลหิตครั้งนี้

สำหรับท่านที่ประสงค์จะบริจาคโลหิตแต่ไม่สามารถมาร่วมกับเราได้นั้น ทางสภากาชาดยังคงมีการรับบริจาคโลหิตอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งที่สภากาชาดเองและนอกสถานที่ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพหวังว่าพวกเราทุกคนจะได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการช่วยเหลือสังคมให้ผู้ที่ต้องการต่อชีวิตได้มีโอกาสสำหรับอนาคตที่ดีกว่า
