King's College International School Bangkok is ready to support youth basketball players competing in Thailand's first International Youth Basketball Championship 2023 (IYBC 2023) for age groups: under-13s, under-15s, and under-17s, and provides world-class facilities, including an air-conditioned sports hall housing three full-size basketball courts for the tournament, which will take place from April 8–11, 2023.

Also, our teacher, Mr Liam Kane, Assistant Head, had the opportunity to welcome and join the press conference along with Mr Phoomsan Seneewong Na Ayudhaya, a member of the Advisory Board, the President of Education Policy, and Deputy Minister of Education, Mr Nipondh Chawalitmontien, BSAT President, and Mr Brian Yee, the co-founder of the Global Hoops Elite Program, which is a FIBA licenced scout and SEA sports organiser for youth and pro leagues, and the IYBC 2023 tournament’s official operating partner.

We are delighted that our Sports Hall has been recognised for its international quality standards and is ready to welcome over 800 youth basketball players to compete in this tournament.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ร่วมสนับสนุนการแข่งขันบาสเกตบอลเยาวชนนานาชาติ ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย สำหรับเยาวชนรุ่นอายุไม่เกิน 13, 15 และ 17 ปี พร้อมเปิดสนามแข่งขันบาสเกตบอลมาตรฐานระดับโลกของโรงเรียนเพื่อร่วมจัดการแข่งขันระหว่างวันที่ 8 - 11 เมษายน 2566 

ทั้งนี้ ครูเลียม เคน ผู้ช่วยครูใหญ่ได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับและร่วมแถลงข่าวแก่สื่อมวลชน พร้อมกับคุณภูมิสรรค์ เสนีวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา ประธานคณะกรรมการขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์และนโยบาย ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ คุณนิพนธ์ ชวลิตมณเฑียร นายกสมาคมกีฬาบาสเกตบอลแห่งประเทศไทย และ มร. ไบรอัน ยี ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้งโกลบอล ฮูปส์ อีลีท โปรแกรม และผู้จัดการแข่งขันกีฬาเยาวชนและระดับอาชีพในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้

ทั้งนี้ เรายินดีที่ Sports Hall ของเราได้รับการยอมรับในคุณภาพมาตรฐานระดับนานาชาติและพร้อมเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะต้อนรับนักกีฬาบาสเกตบอลเยาวชนกว่า 800 คน ที่จะมาชิงชัยในการแข่งขันครั้งนี้
