King's Bangkok celebrates the Year of the Rabbit

Today, at King's College International School Bangkok, we celebrated the Lunar New Year. Our Senior Leadership Team led by our Headmaster Thomas Banyard gave oranges - one of the auspicious fruits of the Lunar New Year to everyone. Today's atmosphere was full of excitement as both children and staff wore clothes and various accessories to welcome the Lunar New Year.

A huge thank you to our Mandarin Department and our parents, who jointly organised today’s activities. It is so important that children learn about Chinese culture as part of a well-rounded education, and we place great importance on creating a unique celebratory atmosphere at King’s Bangkok.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเฉลิมฉลองวันตรุษจีนหรือวันปีใหม่ของจีนเมื่อช่วงเช้าวันนี้ โดย คณะครูผู้บริหาร นำโดย ครูใหญ่ธอมัส บานยาร์ด หรือครูทอมของเรา ได้มอบส้มสีทองหนึ่งในผลไม้มงคลของเทศกาลตรุษจีน เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล อีกทั้งโรงเรียนยังได้จัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ มากมาย ทำให้บรรยากาศในวันนี้เต็มไปด้วยความน่าตื่นเต้น โดยนักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง คุณครู และบุคลากรต่างแต่งกายและสวมใส่เครื่องประดับอันหลากหลายเพื่อต้อนรับเทศกาลตรุษจีน

ทั้งนี้ต้องขอขอบคุณคุณครูจากแผนกภาษาจีนและผู้ปกครอง ที่ได้ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันสำคัญนี้ เพื่อเป็นการอวยพรและเพื่อให้เด็ก ๆ ได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมของชาวจีนซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการสร้างการเรียนรู้อย่างรอบด้าน และยังเป็นอีกหนึ่งวันที่ให้พวกเขาได้จดจำบรรยากาศของวันตรุษจีนแบบคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ
