Sparking curiosity for Ancient Egypt in Year 3 students

To spark and stimulate learning for Year 3 students learning about Ancient Egypt for the first time, our teachers organised an Ancient Egypt Day that not only allowed students to dress up in clothes of the era but also exposed them to important historical information through the displaying of artefacts and items from ancient Egyptian culture in miniature alongside other important articles, for example, architecture, art, and hieroglyphics. This helped students to begin thinking about the period of history they were looking at as well as encouraging them to ask questions and follow their curiosity. To finish the day everyone came together to dance along to "Walk Like an Egyptian" bringing enthusiastic laughter to the Concert Hall.

เพื่อจุดประกายและกระตุ้นการเรียนรู้ให้กับนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 3 ครั้งแรกของการเรียนเกี่ยวกับยุค Ancient Egypt คุณครูได้จัดกิจกรรม Ancient Egypt Day ขึ้น ที่ไม่เพียงแค่ให้นักเรียนแต่งกายในยุคนั้น แต่ได้สอดแทรกเนื้อหาทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่สำคัญโดยจัดแสดงตัวอย่างวัตถุและสิ่งของจากวัฒนธรรมอียิปต์โบราณในขนาดย่อส่วน สถาปัตยกรรม ศิลปะ อักษรเฮียโรกลิฟฟิก พร้อมฝึกให้นักเรียนตั้งคำถามถึงสิ่งที่ตัวเองสงสัย และไม่ลืมที่จะเติมความสนุกสนานระหว่างการเรียนรู้ โดยคุณครูได้ชวนเด็ก ๆ เต้นเพลง Walk Like an Egyptian ซึ่งสร้างเสียงหัวเราะไปทั่วทั้ง Concert Hall
