King's College International School Bangkok would like to congratulate Franc Siranat Tovikkai Year 8 and Florin Nathasiri Tovikkai Year 6, who recently received a Gold Medal for their invention of Muvtivate (Muscle and Movement Stimulation Versatility Tool) at the "TESLA FEST", the International festival of innovation, knowledge and creativity organised in Serbia October 12-15, 2021. Every year, there are more than 500 pieces of work in TESLA FEST from over 25 countries and we are proud to see our students going the extra mile outside of the classroom!

Muvtivate is a fun, portable exercise device focusing on bedridden patients and the immobile elderly. It aims to support standing up, continuing to walk and overall improvement in health, featuring various biofeedback games and exercise programs targeting different muscles, and can even be used in bed. It stimulates whole-body joint and muscle movements with different actions, helps users to multitask and control brain-muscle coordination. Health monitoring devices, i.e. a heart rate monitor and pulse oximeter, are installed on the biosensor to keep track of users’ progress and ensure the best results during practice.

No one knows what the future holds and the world continues to rapidly change and evolve. We at King's Bangkok will always be here to support our students’ learning and passions, and aim to foster a love of innovation, determination and confidence to try new things in every child we teach.
