King’s College International School Bangkok knows the sciences are different from other subjects. Modern and high quality science labs can help students to understand concepts and theory, as well as aspects that are difficult to grasp from just a textbook. When students see an experiment, they gain a greater appreciation of the methods, processes and results that are part of the scientific method. 

Our Headmaster Thomas Banyard graduated with a first-class degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and was previously Head of Physics at King's College School, Wimbledon. He has experience and a firm understanding of a world-class education, and has led the designing of 4 science labs and preparation rooms to the highest standards. All our equipment and materials were imported to ensure the quality of science teaching and learning is on par with the leading schools around the world, such as King's Wimbledon.

Inside our labs, teachers can teach a whole class and we have workstations with integrated sinks, a fume hood with a 360-degree view that allows every student to observe experiments, and numerous storage options. This design is effective for all three sciences -- Biology, Chemistry and Physics -- encouraging students to work in groups and inculcating a deep interest in the sciences. King’s Bangkok is ready to welcome all of our students back soon and we look forward to seeing children build their skills in the science labs by giving them the best possible learning experience.
