King's Bangkok sharing insights into the new term with AustCham

During the first week of the new academic year, King's College International School Bangkok has been honoured by the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce. Our Headmaster Thomas Banyard was invited to represent the school in a virtual interview, providing perspective on how the school has prepared for the term ahead in response to COVID-19.

If anything, the key takeaway is that our Headmaster puts his focus on the pastoral care for the entire King’s Bangkok family, fostering openness and encouraging communication between the students, parents and staff. Also, with the support of King’s Wimbledon that has successfully thrive in a similar situation, we are confident that the learning experience will be effective for every student regardless of being online or on-campus.

We are excited to learn that we may be able to start in-person learning soon, following the government's most recent update. We are ready and look forward to seeing the children run, play, learn and socialise together soon.
