1,204 books read in a week!

King's College International School Bangkok encourages children to read as much as possible as it helps develop a creative, thinking mind and enables students to access the whole curriculum. During this period of online learning Ms Harris, at King's Bangkok, organised a House Reading Challenge where students from Reception to Year 6 read as many books as they could during a week to collect points for their houses.

Our students read a total of 1,204 books throughout the week, with the winning houses in each year section being:

Hanuman in Reception

Naga in Key stage 1

Norman in Key stage 2

King's Bangkok would like to congratulate the winning houses and applaud every student who took part. We hope that the children's love of reading will continue to open up an exciting world of texts for them.
