Congratulations to 7 champions of Thailand at the World Maths Day
We were proud to see a total of 6 year groups participate from Year 1 to Year 6. 4 year groups were ranked 1st in Thailand and 3 students individually ranked 1st in Thailand at the World Maths Day. More importantly, King’s Bangkok students spent 63,105 minutes in the Mathletics learning programme and answered 49,292 questions at this competition. All these results reflect the determination and perseverance of all students. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate all students for their achievements.
World Maths Day, hosted by Mathletics, is an online international mathematics competition with competitors from 150 countries around the world. The competition takes place annually on May 5th, running for 48 hours to cover worldwide time zones.
Maths is one of the subjects that King’s Bangkok particularly emphasise as part of our commitment to academic excellence, so we encouraged our students to participate in this competition. King’s Bangkok encourages students to learn Maths not only through the classroom activities but also through activities and channels like these, because we want our students to enjoy learning the subject and see its importance on a daily basis.
