The "WeCare & WeShare Stop COVID-19" campaign
We make a living by what we get. But we make a life by what we give.

The statement above is a quote from former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill that reflects the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand. As of 27 April 2021, there have been 59,687 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Thailand, which not only affects the economic and social fabric of the country, but is life threatening to those infected as well as the doctors, nurses and healthcare personnel who work tirelessly and put themselves on the line in order to protect the health of their communities. This is happening while there is a shortage of medical supplies in many regions.

King’s College International School Bangkok recognises this urgent need and therefore encourages everyone in the community to help raise funds for hospitals and related organisations. This will contribute towards covering the medical expenses of those infected and the medical equipment required for treatment. As of today, King’s Bangkok has donated funds to the following organisations: Suandok Hospital Foundation, Chiang Mai University for the amount of THB 210,000, Ratchaphiphat Hospital for the amount of THB 120,000, the medical services of the Royal Thai Air Force Hospital (Si Kan) for the amount of THB 100,000 and the Siriraj Foundation for the amount of THB 100,000.

Furthermore, we have also donated food packages to medical personnel at hospitals including Ramathibodi Hospital, Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute, Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute, the Central Chest Institute of Thailand, Pracha Samasai Institute, the Siriraj Foundation and Ratchaphiphat Hospital.
