"WeCare&WeShare"

The "WeCare&WeShare Stop COVID-19" campaign, gathering ventilators and delivering them to hospitals.

With regard to the COVID-19 virus outbreak that is increasingly affecting lives and potentially leading to a shortage of medical equipment and devices, particularly ventilators in Bangkok and other provincial hospitals. This shortage of ventilators is the major cause of death for COVID-19 patients in many parts of the world.

Professor Sakorn Suksriwong DBA, Chairman of Founding Team of King's College International School Bangkok, started the "WeCare&WeShare Stop COVID-19" campaign to gather ventilators and deliver them to hospitals that need them. The campaign received great support from members of the King's Bangkok Founding Team, including Khun Siritaj Rojanapruk, Khun Thanapol Sirithanachai, Dr Pitt and Khun Thitiporn Rattanapian, Khun Vittawat Panpanich, as well as many of the King’s Bangkok founding families. Chulalongkorn Business Administration 2019 (CBA Chula 2019) and many other parties have also given their support towards the campaign. In total, we raised 4 million Thai baht in donations, which were converted into 16 units of ventilators for extensive respiratory treatments. All of the ventilators will be distributed to hospitals nationwide, as follows:

- 6 at Rajavithi Hospital
- 2 at Klang Hospital
- 1 at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital
- 1 at Police Hospital
- 1 at Luang Por Thaweesak Hospital
- 1 at Buriram Hospital
- 1 at Suandok Chiang Mai Hospital
- 1 at Nakornping Chiang Mai Hospital
- 1 at Phatthalung Hospital and
- 1 spare ventilator available for any hospitals in case of emergency

We hope that this act of kindness will be a key contribution to helping Thailand overcome this situation in the near future.
