FOBISIA 2022: Talent built from effort brings you success

At King’s College International School Bangkok, we are proud of the effort that each of our students put into pursuing what they love. On this occasion, we would like to congratulate all of the U15 girl and U15 boy athletes who competed in FOBISIA across a wide range of sports, including basketball, football, swimming, and athletics. The event involved a group of international schools competing throughout the beginning of November.
Our Headmaster Thomas Banyard or Kru Tom gave students the message that "Results aren’t everything, and sport is much more than just winning: children learn to win and lose, learn teamwork, communication and resilience and so much more. However, the students hugely outperformed any reasonable expectations and I would like to celebrate the results they achieved through their endeavours." The awards that our students received are as follows:
Girls Football 1st
Girls Basketball 1st
Boys Basketball 1st
Swimming 2nd place 
Athletics 2nd place
Boys Football 4th
In addition to the FOBISIA competitions, our students participate in other competitions in music, academics, other sports, and many more. Please stay tuned to hear about upcoming events in these endeavours. King's Bangkok is here to support all students in doing what they love, and aim to help them discover themselves so that they can grow together and go further in their own way.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ รู้สึกภาคภูมิใจกับทุกความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจที่เด็ก ๆ ของเราทุ่มเททำในสิ่งที่พวกเขาชื่นชอบ ในโอกาสนี้ เราขอแสดงความยินดีกับนักกีฬาหญิง U15 และชาย U15 ทุกคนที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน FOBISIA ในกีฬาหลากหลายประเภท ได้แก่ บาสเกตบอล ฟุตบอล ว่ายน้ำ และกรีฑา กับกลุ่มโรงเรียนนานาชาติตลอดช่วงต้นเดือนพฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา
โดยครูใหญ่ ธอมัส บานยาร์ด หรือครูทอม ได้ฝากข้อคิดแก่นักเรียนว่า “ผลลัพธ์ไม่ใช่ทุกอย่าง และกีฬาก็เป็นมากกว่าการได้รับชัยชนะ เด็ก ๆ ได้เรียนรู้ที่จะชนะและแพ้ เรียนรู้การทำงานเป็นทีม การสื่อสาร ความอุตสาหะ และอื่น ๆ อีกมากมาย อย่างไรก็ตาม นักเรียนของเราทำได้ดีกว่าที่คาดไว้อย่างมาก และขอแสดงความยินดีกับรางวัลที่พวกเขาได้รับจากความพยายามในครั้งนี้” ซึ่งรางวัลที่นักเรียนของเราได้รับ มีดังนี้

นอกเหนือจากการแข่งขัน FOBISIA นักเรียนของเรายังได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันอื่น ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านดนตรี วิชาการ กีฬาประเภทอื่น ๆ และอีกหลากหลาย ขอให้ทุกท่านโปรดติดตาม และคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพพร้อมสนับสนุนนักเรียนทุกคนให้ทำในสิ่งที่ชอบ พร้อมค้นหาตัวเองไปทีละก้าว เพื่อให้พวกเขาเติบโตไปได้ไกลในแบบฉบับของตนเอง
