King’s College International School Bangkok has recently reached a milestone with the opening of our new Senior School in which we aim to take students further. Our goal is to enhance our students’ learning by following a curriculum adopted from and approved by our sister school, King’s College School, Wimbledon – one of the most successful international schools in the world; selecting teachers that stood out from over 4,000 candidates; and creating a warm, welcoming environment where students can feel comfortable to explore their interests.

We understand that Senior School students have different needs and learning styles, so a space just for them is of utmost importance. We have designed, built and decorated more floors, which include 14 rooms for our first Senior School cohort to allow our Year 7 to 10 students to thrive in every lesson. We even made sure to provide the Senior School common area with spaces to sit, walk about, play board games, eat and more, in which they can lounge, spend time with friends, and entertain themselves.

In addition, we have created new facilities, not only the Fitness Centre or Science Labs that we shared earlier, but also other facilities such as DT & Robotics, Gymnastics Centre, Music Room and Art Studios to support our 3 pillars: Academic Excellence, Co-curricular Programme and Pastoral Care for the Senior School students. We will keep you posted on these new facilities. At King’s Bangkok, we believe our students can find themselves here and we can inspire them to go further.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพได้เริ่ม roadmap แรกของการสร้าง Senior School ด้วยความมุ่งหมายให้เด็ก ๆ ไปได้ไกลกว่า ซึ่งนอกเหนือจากหลักสูตรที่ยกมาจากโรงเรียนคิงส์คอลเลจวิมเบิลดัน โรงเรียนแม่ที่ประสบความสำเร็จด้านวิชาการมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในโลก และ คุณครูที่คัดมาจากใบสมัครกว่า 4,000 ใบแล้ว สิ่งหนึ่งที่เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการส่งเสริมให้เด็ก ๆ พัฒนาไปได้ไกลอย่างที่ใจพวกเขาต้องการ หนีไม่พ้นสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก

ในปีนี้ เราได้เริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาด้วยการเนรมิตชั้นเรียนใหม่ทั้งหมด 14 ห้อง เพื่อรองรับนักเรียนชั้น Year 7 ถึง 10 ที่มีรูปแบบการเรียนรู้และความต้องการที่แตกต่างออกไปจากเดิม และเรายังมีพื้นที่ส่วนกลางที่ให้นักเรียนสามารถมาใช้ร่วมกันได้ มีทั้งพื้นที่จัดเป็นโต๊ะ เก้าอี้ ไว้พร้อม พื้นที่โล่ง และยังมีอัฒจันทร์ ซึ่งพื้นที่เหล่านี้ได้สร้างขึ้นเพื่อเปิดกว้างให้นักเรียนได้ทำกิจกรรมตามรูปแบบที่ตนออกแบบได้เอง

นอกจากนี้ เรายังได้สร้างสรรค์สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกใหม่ ๆ ไม่ใช่แค่เพียง ศูนย์ฟิตเนส หรือ ห้องทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์​ แต่ยังมีทั้ง ศูนย์ DT และ Robotics ศูนย์ยิมนาสติก ห้องดนตรี และสตูดิโอสำหรับสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ ซึ่งเราจะได้แชร์ภาพของสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกเหล่านี้ต่อไปในอนาคต ทั้งนี้ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเชื่อมั่นว่าการออกแบบห้องเรียนและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกทั้งหมดนี้ ก็เพื่อที่จะสนับสนุน 3 เสาหลักของโรงเรียน คือ Academic Excellence, Co-curricular Programme และ Pastoral Care ให้เด็ก ๆ ได้เติบโตอย่างครบถ้วนรอบด้านในทุกมิติ เพื่อที่พวกเขาจะได้ค้นพบความชอบและความถนัด รวมไปถึงแรงบันดาลใจที่จะไปได้ไกลกว่าเดิม
