YEARS

World-class curriculum

In Reception, our curriculum follows the same philosophy as Nursery, but becomes more academic as we teach the children the more formal skills of reading and writing. We base our teaching on the Early Years Foundation Stage of the English National Curriculum, but our students also receive specialist teaching in Music, PE, Swimming, Mandarin, Thai language and Thai culture.

High expectations

We have high expectations of our children, but also celebrate individuality and want our children to show character and be proud of who they are. Developing the whole person, spiritually, socially, physically and morally is extremely important to us, and values and manners are a vital part of our education. We encourage all of our teachers to be adventurous in going beyond the curriculum and bringing the very best out of each child.

Extra-curricular activities

In Reception, children are given opportunities to take extra-curricular activities (ECAs) after academic lessons finish to broaden their experiences.
