Guardian of Wisdom

Guardian of Wisdom

If you have ever had the chance to visit King’s College International School Bangkok, you might have noticed a statue of a cartoon lion standing proudly in front of the football fields. This figure, named the Guardian of Wisdom, represents wisdom as one of the core values of the school.

At King’s Bangkok, we want to truly emphasise the importance of wisdom. Our aim as a school is to develop students who will go on to succeed in the future and wisdom will play a significant part in doing so. Knowledge and wisdom are closely related to each other. It is not just important to teach students to become knowledgeable, but also to make them understand how to apply that knowledge in the real world.

By nurturing wisdom, our students will be able to understand diverse perspectives and apply what they know in a way that gives them the opportunity to extend themselves and inspire others. This is part of our goal to develop a great heart in our students preparing them for the future ahead.
