Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together

Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together. – Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

King's College International School Bangkok upholds and lives by our core values of good manners, kindness and wisdom. Since these 3 concepts are abstract we believe that, to develop children into adults with these values, it is not enough to simply teach them the meaning of the words. Instead, we work to ensure that all adults act as good examples and role models for the students. This is why King’s Bangkok carefully selects our staff not only on their qualifications, but also for their shared values.

This summer, some of our teaching staff took the initiative to try and help other people in this difficult time. Ms Benny, Ms Nook, Ms Moodang and Ms Fuse, four of our Assistant Teachers, raised funds and gave their time to procure rice, eggs, dried food, face masks, and first aid kits for those who are in need. The money left over was spared to fund a field hospital in Bangkok.

King’s Bangkok is very proud of them for their kindness. We believe this is just one of many things that we can do to help our society. We believe that we have built an international school full of kind people with the spirit of good manners, kindness and wisdom. This will help our future alumni to be rich in these 3 core values and go on to make a similar difference to their societies.
