The children at King’s College International School Bangkok are quite used to their Headmaster, Mr Thomas Banyard popping into their online lessons. As part of their online learning, the children in Nursery have been talking about and dressing up as people they would like to be when they grow up. Mrs Tahmina, the class teacher for Nursery Yellow, dressed up as Mr Banyard, which the children found extremely funny. Is there a resemblance?

The Senior Leadership team at King’s Bangkok spend a lot of time with the children on a day to day basis and miss the children being in school as much as the children miss being on campus. Mr Banyard, Ms Searle and Mr Ladva regularly pop into lessons to see what the children are doing and to help keep them and the teachers positive. They even enjoy teaching some online lessons and interacting with the children as they normally would in school.

“It is great to see so much creative learning going on even though we are online,” said Mr Banyard. Ms Searle reiterated this and said that “I can’t wait to see the children face to face again but I am so impressed with the positivity of the children and some of the amazing work they are doing. I am proud of them.”
