Celebrating kindness at King’s Bangkok

Today at King’s Bangkok, we celebrated World Kindness Day. Created in 1998, this day highlights good deeds in society and helps bridge societal divisions based on religion, ethnicity and politics. Our Head of Pre-Prep, Helen Searle, organised a series of activities to promote kindness. Her initiatives included a lucky draw that encouraged children to perform random acts of kindness, such as writing a letter to someone they cared about or becoming friends with a new person. We believe that a community centred around kindness is a stronger community, so we teach students the importance of being grateful, empathetic and supportive of one another, so that they will grow into kind and compassionate young men and women who will make the world a better place.
