Recently, we held a Sports Day at King's College International School Bangkok for Year 1 and 2 students to showcase the running, jumping and throwing skills, which they have been learning in PE lessons. These skills will prepare the students for a range of sports and activities in and outside of school and support an active, healthy lifestyle. Our sports department teachers have guided and recorded the results of each child in order to encourage them to set new challenges, continue to develop in their sports journeys, and beat their personal bests.

Moreover, the Year 6 students were fantastic role models who helped the teachers to record all the results and supported the entire day. They encouraged, coached and supported every pupil demonstrating sportsmanship and kindness with boundless energy. It was great seeing our youngest students engaged in and enjoying physical challenges together in our Sports Hall, and even better, our older and younger students had so much fun together and it was amazing to welcome families to watch and cheer all of the children on.

Thank you to the PE department for organising this event. It overflowed with warmth, teamwork and healthy competition and we look forward to seeing our students shine brighter and go further.

โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ได้จัดกิจกรรม Sports Day ขึ้น สำหรับนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 1 และ Year 2 เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้แสดงทักษะการวิ่ง การกระโดด และการขว้าง โดยพวกเขาจะได้เรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมผ่านการเรียนวิชาพละ ทักษะเหล่านี้จะช่วยเตรียมพร้อมนักเรียนในด้านกีฬาและกิจกรรมอีกมากมายทั้งในและนอกห้องเรียน โดยครูแผนกกีฬาของเราได้คอยแนะนำและบันทึกผลทักษะของเด็ก ๆ แต่ละคน เพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนตั้งเป้ากับความท้าทายใหม่ ๆ เกิดการพัฒนาในด้านกีฬาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และเอาชนะตนเองอย่างเต็มที่อีกด้วย

Sports Day ในครั้งนี้อบอุ่นเป็นพิเศษ เนื่องจากนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 6 ได้มาช่วยเหลือคุณครูในการบันทึกคะแนนให้กับรุ่นน้อง พร้อมทั้งคอยให้กำลังใจ แนะนำ และสนับสนุนนักเรียนรุ่นน้องทุกคนให้แสดงน้ำใจนักกีฬาและเผื่อแผ่ความมีน้ำใจอย่างไร้ขอบเขต ทำให้เราได้เห็นเรื่องราวยอดเยี่ยมเกิดขึ้นในสนาม นักเรียนของเราได้มีมีส่วนร่วมและเพลิดเพลินไปกับกิจกรรมที่ท้าทาย ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นรุ่นพี่และรุ่นน้องได้มีช่วงเวลาที่สนุกสนานร่วมกัน อีกทั้งได้ต้อนรับครอบครัวที่มาชมและให้กำลังใจเด็ก ๆ ทุกคนอีกด้วย

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ขอขอบคุณแผนกกีฬาที่ได้จัดกิจกรรมนี้ขึ้น ที่ไม่ได้มีเพียงแค่ความสนุกสนาน แต่ยังเปี่ยมล้นไปด้วยความน่ารักอบอุ่นเต็ม Sports Hall ของเรา และเราหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะได้เห็นเด็ก ๆ เหล่านี้เปล่งประกายและเติบโตไปได้ไกลต่อไป
