Meet The Heads
Project Concept
At King's College International School Bangkok, our teachers engage, inspire and extend our students so that they love learning and are excited to come to school.
The curriculum at King’s Bangkok has been adapted and approved by King’s Wimbledon, starting with the Early Years Foundation Stage and leading to IGCSEs and A levels. The King’s Wimbledon curriculum has a proven track record of producing academic excellence as well as creative alumni who go on to have success in a wide range of fields. In the 2022/2023 academic year, 89% of students achieved an A*-A or equivalent at IGCSE in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science combined. All students who took IGCSE last year were awarded an A*-A in Physics and Biology, with no grades lower than an A.
On top of that, we are honoured to share that King's Bangkok has been accredited by the Education Development Trust (EDT) for the British Schools Overseas Inspection (BSO) and International School Quality Mark (ISQM) reports. We received an 'Outstanding' rating in every category for BSO and a 'Gold level' for ISQM, marking the highest level of achievement in both reports.
The Co-curricular Programme at King’s Wimbledon aims to enable children to explore new activities, cultivate new interests and develop a variety of skills. King’s Bangkok has adopted this approach and provided our students with a variety of CCAs, ECAs and Clubs & Societies to help them develop their interests and skills and become passionate about what they do, so that they can lead successful and fulfilling lives.
Pastoral Care at King’s Wimbledon means more than just the wellbeing of students at the school. The Tutors and the House system more broadly play an important role in helping students settle into the community and develop life skills that will be critically important after they leave the school. More importantly, students will be looked after not only inside but also outside the classroom, and teachers look out for their best interests until they leave. King’s Bangkok has adopted this approach and implemented it with several initiatives within the school and across the global network of King’s College School Wimbledon schools.
Witness the true and meaningful stories of kindness at King’s Bangkok,
thousands of thank you notes gathered from our students, teachers, and staff.
"Together, we would take a 200-year process towards excellence, and accelerate it. We would take the very best from our Wimbledon school, and develop it. We would design the ideal campus, and build it – in one of the most convenient and prestigious locations in the whole of Bangkok. In short, we would create a sister school we could all take pride in, and we would do everything we could to make King’s in Bangkok one of the greatest schools in Asia."
