After the immense success of last year's 'Sharing The Love' event initiated by our Year 4 students, raising funds to aid families affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, King's Bangkok appreciates the good intentions of the students and is pleased to continue organising more activities, to nurture a Community of Kindness within the King’s Bangkok family.

This year, in addition to the 'Sharing The Love' event organised by our Year 4 students, senior students from Years 8 and 9, as well as parents, also participated in the event. Additionally, during the same week, there was an 'Operation Smile Kindness Fundraiser' event aimed at providing free surgeries for children. The total donations from both events were more than 190,000 baht, which will be given to the 'ShelterBox' Foundation and the Operation Smile Foundation.

King's Bangkok would like to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported these fundraising events, whether through purchases, donations, or participation in activities provided by our students. We are delighted to witness everyone's involvement in giving and sincerely hope that this activity will aid our students in growing into young men and women with great hearts, who can make great contributions to society.

จากการริเริ่มกิจกรรม “Sharing the Love” ของนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 4 ของเราที่ต้องการจัดกิจกรรมระดมทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่เกิดขึ้นในตุรกีและซีเรีย

ในปีที่ผ่านมา คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเห็นถึงความตั้งใจอันดีของเด็ก ๆ จึงได้จัดกิจกรรมเช่นนี้อีกเป็นประจำ เพื่อจุดประกายสังคมแห่งการเอื้อเฟื้อเผื่อแผ่เช่นนี้ต่อไปให้แก่ครอบครัวคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ

โดยในปีนี้นอกเหนือไปจากกิจกรรม “Sharing the Love” ซึ่งจัดโดยนักเรียนระดับชั้น Year 4 แล้ว ยังมีพี่ ๆ นักเรียนจากระดับชั้น Year 8 และ 9 รวมไปถึงผู้ปกครองมาร่วมกิจกรรม อีกทั้งในสัปดาห์เดียวกัน ยังมีจัดกิจกรรม “Operation Smile Kindness Fundraiser” เพื่อช่วยเหลือเด็ก ๆ ที่ขาดโอกาสทางการรักษาทางการแพทย์อีกด้วย รวมยอดบริจาคจากทั้งสองกิจกรรมแล้วมากกว่า 190,000 บาท ซึ่งถูกจะนำไปมอบให้แก่มูลนิธิ “ShelterBox" และมูลนิธิสร้างรอยยิ้ม (Operation Smile Thailand) ต่อไป

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่มีส่วนร่วมกับการระดมทุนในครั้งนี้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการสนับสนุนในรูปแบบใดก็ตาม เราภูมิใจที่ได้เห็นทุกท่านมีส่วนร่วมในการให้ และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่ากิจกรรมนี้จะมีส่วนช่วยให้นักเรียนของเราเติบโตเป็นหนุ่มสาวที่มีคุณภาพของสังคมต่อไป
