Celebrating Loy Krathong Festival at King’s Bangkok

The Loy Krathong Festival is one of the beautiful Thai traditions. This year at King's Bangkok, we joined in continuing Thai traditions by inviting the students, parents, teachers, and staff to wear traditional Thai dress to join in the fun activities at our school. We also had various performances, including learning about Loy Krathong traditions and waterway conservation from Primary and Senior school students sharing knowledge to see how they could reduce water pollution during Loy Krathong while still being able to honour the longstanding traditions. This allowed the students to think about the environmental impacts of this tradition.

King's Bangkok is delighted to have had everyone here today. It’s another special day for all of us to celebrate together. Happy Loy Krathong!

เทศกาลลอยกระทงเป็นหนึ่งในประเพณีไทยอันงดงาม ในปีนี้ที่คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพเราได้ร่วมสืบสานประเพณีไทยโดยเชิญชวนให้นักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง คุณครู และบุคลากรแต่งกายด้วยชุดไทยมาร่วมสนุกไปกับกิจกรรม การแสดงต่าง ๆ และเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับวันลอยกระทง โดยตัวแทนนักเรียนจากระดับชั้น Primary และ Senior School ได้แบ่งปันความรู้เกี่ยวกับผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมจากเทศกาลนี้ ไปพร้อม ๆ กับการสืบสานประเพณีที่ลดการสร้างมลพิษทางน้ำอีกด้วย

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพรู้สึกยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ทุกคนมาเฉลิมฉลองและมีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรมในวันนี้ สุขสันต์วันลอยกระทง!
