Global connectivity and fostering aspiration from Wimbledon to Bangkok

Our esteemed guests from King's Wimbledon, including Penny Hughes CBE, former Chair of King’s Wimbledon’s Board of Governors, Chris Hale, Chair of KCSWI and former King’s Wimbledon student (Old Kings), accompanied by Karl Gross, Deputy Head and Director of Overseas Schools visited King's Bangkok. Their visit was a fantastic example of the strong partnership between our two schools.

During their visit, our guests observed classes, engaged with students, and explored the school, disscussing topics about this school and King's Wimbledon. They observed the curricular, pastoral care, wellbeing, and environment to ensure that King’s Bangkok shares the same ethos and standards of our UK founding school. Mr Chris also held a session sharing his insight on law and careers for Years 7-9, helping them to explore their interests and consider their exciting future pathways. Those in attendance also expressed gratitude to him for generously sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience.

King's Bangkok continues to celebrate our ongoing partnership with King's Wimbledon, which helps ensure that every student is prepared for life beyond school.

เมื่อเทอมที่ผ่านมา คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับคุณเพนนี ฮิวจ์ส (ผู้ได้รับเครื่องราชอิสริยาภรณ์แห่งจักรวรรดิอังกฤษ ชั้น CBE) อดีตประธานกรรมการบริหารโรงเรียนคิงส์คอลเลจวิมเบิลดัน พร้อมด้วยมร. คริส เฮล ประธานกรรมการของ King's College School Wimbledon International School และยังเป็นศิษย์เก่าจากคิงส์คอลเลจวิมเบิลดัน (Old Kings) และมร. คาร์ล กรอส Director of Overseas Schools and Deputy Head จากคิงส์คอลเลจวิมเบิลดัน ซึ่งการมาเยี่ยมเยียนในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งความร่วมมืออันแน่นแฟ้นของเรากับโรงเรียนแม่

โดยระหว่างการเยี่ยมเยียนในครั้งนี้ยังได้มีการเข้าร่วมสังเกตการณ์การเรียนการสอนในชั้นเรียน พร้อมพูดคุยกับนักเรียน ทีมครู และบุคลากร เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพยังคงรักษามาตรฐานการเรียนการสอน สภาพแวดล้อม คุณภาพชีวิตของนักเรียน รวมถึงสามารถดูแลนักเรียนอย่างรอบด้านในทุกมิติ โดยสามารถถอดแบบจิตวิญญาณของคิงส์คอลเลจวิมเบิลดันมาได้อย่างครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ นอกจากนี้ มร. คริสยังได้จัดเซสชั่นพิเศษแบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์ในด้านกฎหมายและอาชีพแก่นักเรียน Year 7-9 ซึ่งช่วยเปิดมุมมองให้พวกเขาได้สำรวจความสนใจและพิจารณาถึงเส้นทางของตัวเองในอนาคตอีกด้วย
