Spreading smiles with kindness at Mae Sot

Our Year 10 students recently volunteered in Mae Sot, Tak for Operation Smile Thailand's medical mission, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Their involvement extended beyond mere assistance as they actively participated in patient interviews and record-keeping, providing invaluable support to the doctors. Moreover, their thoughtful efforts to decorate the hospital ward created a warm and welcoming space for young patients, fostering a sense of comfort and healing. Our students connected with the patients, sharing their knowledge and teaching the children to read and write in English.
Furthermore, our students visited the Mae Tao Clinic, where they witnessed the incredible work being done to provide healthcare and education to refugee families. This experience served as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness, gratitude, empathy, and support within a community. By emphasising these values among our students, we strive to cultivate a generation of compassionate individuals who will actively contribute to making the world a better place.

นักเรียน Year 10 ของเราได้เข้าร่วมเป็นอาสาสมัครทางการแพทย์กับมูลนิธิสร้างรอยยิ้ม (Operation Smile) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ที่แม่สอด จังหวัดตาก นักเรียนของเราได้ช่วยแพทย์สัมภาษณ์และบันทึกข้อมูลของผู้ป่วยตกแต่งโรงพยาบาลเพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศให้เป็นมิตรมากขึ้นสำหรับผู้ป่วยเด็ก และนักเรียนของเรายังได้พูดคุยและเล่นกับเด็ก ๆ ที่มารอรับการตรวจ รวมไปถึงสอนเด็ก ๆ อ่านและเขียนภาษาอังกฤษอีกด้วย!
