Bangkok Safeguarding Network at King’s Bangkok

Recently, King's College International School Bangkok hosted the Bangkok Safeguarding Networking event for Bangkok Safeguarding Leads. Our Headmaster, Thomas Banyard, welcomed many participants from over 20 international schools in Bangkok and around Thailand to attend this meeting.

Safeguarding is a top priority for all schools, especially international schools in Thailand. The meeting was led by our Deputy Head (Senior School), Mr Matthew Gibson, and Head of Primary School, Mrs Helen Searle, as well as the Head of Early Years, Mr Raj Ladva, and representatives of King's Bangkok teachers. The event was well-attended by over 40 participants, who shared their expertise on the safeguarding challenges facing our community and provided advice on how to support schools and families with these issues. Networking in this way allows us to learn from one another and share best practices, which can have a significant and positive impact on our own school context. All delegates were active participants in a range of activities, including problem-solving and collaborating on strategies to support particular safeguarding needs.

King's Bangkok is delighted to lead and organise this Bangkok Safeguarding Network meeting, and we believe that sharing a common approach among international schools will help strengthen the King's Bangkok family and ensure that our students are truly taken care of in all aspects. By coming together and collaborating, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our students and families, and help create a safer and more supportive environment for all.

เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้ โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพได้มีโอกาสเป็นผู้นำในการจัดการประชุม Bangkok Safeguarding Network โดยครูใหญ่ธอมัส บานยาร์ดของเราได้ต้อนรับบุคลากรจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติกว่า 20 โรงเรียนจากกรุงเทพและจังหวัดอื่น ๆ ในประเทศไทยที่เข้าร่วมการประชุมในครั้งนี้

เนื่องจาก Safeguarding เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญสำหรับโรงเรียน การจัดการประชุมในครั้งนี้จึงนำทีมโดยครูแมทธิว กิ๊บสัน Deputy Head (Senior School) ครูเฮเลน เซิร์ล Head of Primary School และครูรัช ลัดวา Head of Early Years พร้อมตัวแทนคุณครูของคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพร่วมกับตัวแทนจากโรงเรียนนานาชาติรวมกว่า 40 ท่าน ทำกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ร่วมกันเพื่อสนับสนุนความเข้าใจในเรื่อง Safeguarding ตลอดจนแบ่งปันคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับวิธีการช่วยเหลือโรงเรียนและครอบครัว โดยการสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างโรงเรียนนานาชาติในครั้งนี้ ช่วยทำให้เราได้เรียนรู้จากกันและกันเพื่อเป็นการแบ่งปันแนวทางปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสม รวมถึงวิธีการแก้ปัญหาและแบ่งปันความรู้ร่วมกันเกี่ยวกับ Safeguarding อีกด้วย

คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้เป็นผู้นำในการจัดการประชุม Bangkok Safeguarding Network ในครั้งนี้ และเชื่อว่าการได้แบ่งปันแนวทางร่วมกันระหว่างโรงเรียนนานาชาติ จะช่วยเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งให้กับครอบครัวคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพและเพื่อให้มั่นใจว่านักเรียนของเราจะได้รับการดูแลในทุกมิติอย่างแท้จริง
