King’s Bangkok celebrates World Book Day

“Reading is central to so much of our work at King’s Bangkok. Children use it all of the time to learn and research. Below are some things we do at King’s Bangkok to ensure that children develop the skills they need in combination with a love of learning.” – Mrs Helen Searle (Head of Primary School)

Last week, King's College International School Bangkok celebrated World Book Day. Throughout the week, we encouraged students to be active readers by organising various fun activities and allowing them to dress up as their favourite characters, showcasing their creativity and the range of books they read. It is also crucial for them to reflect on their reading to comprehend the essence of the books that pique their interest.

King's Bangkok extends a big thank you to the Library team and all the staff involved for their invaluable assistance. We loved all the costumes!

เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา โรงเรียนนานาชาติคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพได้จัดกิจกรรมอย่างหลากหลายเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวันหนังสือโลก โดยตลอดทั้งสัปดาห์เราได้ส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีความกระตือรือร้นในการอ่าน พร้อมกับแต่งแต้มความสนุกสนานให้กับกิจกรรม โดยให้นักเรียนของเราแต่งกายเป็นตัวละครที่พวกเขาชื่นชอบ ทำให้นอกจากได้เห็นความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของเด็ก ๆ และความหลากหลายของหนังสือที่พวกเขาอ่านแล้ว สิ่งสำคัญคือสะท้อนให้พวกเขาเรียนรู้การอ่านที่เข้าถึงแก่นของหนังสือที่พวกเขาสนใจด้วย
