King’s Bangkok welcomed professor and doctoral students from the Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University to a school visit

King's College International School Bangkok has once again welcomed visitors to learn about our management within British education so that they can adopt some useful information into the Thai educational system.

Today, King's Bangkok welcomed professors and doctoral students from Kasetsart University's Doctor of Education Program in Educational Administration (Special Program), Faculty of Education, led by our Headmaster, Thomas Banyard, to join the conversation and share management insights. They discussed the heart of teaching and learning at King's Bangkok while the Head of Primary School, Mrs. Helen Searle, and Deputy Head of Primary School, Mr. Jerome Marshall, also led the visitors on a school tour of various areas of the school.

According to today's conversation, the doctoral students were impressed with the facilities and admired their effective design for teaching and learning. This has been fantastic to hear, as each component of the facilities was chosen with care and consideration for the many benefits that students would receive, all in search of the most practical and appealing learning environment. Furthermore, many visitors were astounded by King's Wimbledon's rigorous teaching curriculum and equally intensive selection of teachers, which has resulted in 128 teachers being chosen from over 7,500 applications.

King's Bangkok hopes that the information that the PhD students from Kasetsart University have received during the visit will contribute to inspiring future educational personnel to apply to their educational institutions and work together to improve Thai education quality.

วันนี้ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพได้ต้อนรับอาจารย์และนิสิตปริญญาเอก คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ นำโดยครูใหญ่ธอมัส บานยาร์ด ร่วมพูดคุยและแบ่งปันข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับการบริหารจัดการ รวมถึงหัวใจสำคัญของการจัดการเรียนการสอนของคิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ อีกทั้งครูเฮเลน เซิร์ล Head of Primary School และครูเจอโรม มาร์แชล Deputy Head of Primary School ได้นำอาจารย์และนิสิตเยี่ยมชมบริเวณต่าง ๆ ของโรงเรียนอีกด้วย

ซึ่งจากการพูดคุยในวันนี้ นอกเหนือไปจากหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนอันเข้มข้นจากคิงส์วิมเบิลดันแล้ว ต่างประทับใจกับสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกของที่นี่ นิสิตปริญญาเอกทุกท่านล้วนแต่ชื่นชมในการออกแบบสถานที่การเรียนการสอนและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก ที่เต็มไปด้วยความใส่ใจและคำนึงถึงประโยชน์ที่นักเรียนจะได้รับเป็นหลักการใหญ่ในการออกแบบ ทำให้ได้บรรยากาศที่น่าเรียนอย่างยิ่งสำหรับเด็กๆ นอกจากนี้ หลายท่านยังทึ่งกับการคัดเลือกครูที่เข้มข้นจนทำให้ได้คุณครู 128 ท่านจากใบสมัครกว่า 7,500 ใบ

ทั้งนี้ คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ หวังว่าข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ที่นิสิตปริญญาเอกจากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ได้รับไปในการเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้ จะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้บุคลากรทางการศึกษาในอนาคตนำไปปรับใช้ยังสถานศึกษาของตนเพื่อร่วมยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาไทยขึ้นไปด้วยกัน
