The end of an exciting first term at King’s Bangkok

This morning, King’s Bangkok had its first House Quiz, led by the Head of our House system and former King’s Wimbledon teacher, James McAuslan. Children in Years 3-6 were quizzed on a total of 100 questions – 10 rounds with 10 questions in each. Well done to all the houses participating, and particularly Tudor house for winning in every category. In the afternoon, after students helped put all the chairs back into the classrooms, Early Years students decorated cookies, wrote letters to Santa and made handicrafts with their parents; in the meantime, KS1 and KS2 did some other activities in their classroom, such as watching movies, playing boardgames and making handicrafts.

Today was also a mufti day where students could come in their own clothes, but were encouraged to wear something in the spirit of Christmas. So many students clearly made a lot of effort in dressing up—thank you to you all.

Our Headmaster, Thomas Banyard, told all students that despite the challenges that we have all faced this year, we should all say thank you to the people we have in our lives, starting with children telling their parents how much they love and appreciate them.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing you all in 2021.

King’s Bangkok now welcomes applications for boys and girls aged 2–15 (Pre-nursery to Year 10) for the academic year 2021. Years 11–13 will open in the subsequent academic years.
