At King’s Bangkok, all students are involved in the arts.
On Monday evening, King’s Bangkok held its inaugural Festival of the Arts, comprising musical, dramatic and dance performances, as well as an art exhibition. Students of all abilities from Year 1 to Year 6 were involved, and everyone appeared on stage at least twice. The performances included many group songs, piano and violin solos, and a whole school rendition of, “Jingle Bells.” Parents joined us for the evening to watch their children perform and were even invited to go on stage at one point by our Director of Music, Lee Clark. Parents and students then went to look at the art on display in the Concert Hall, with a series of interesting collections including “Bangkok from Above,” inspired by Hundertwasser, Layered Symmetry, Lion portraits and many other beautiful pieces.
Special thanks go to our MCs and all the staff involved in the production and exhibition for putting on such a wonderful evening.
We have also posted several photos of the King’s Bangkok community from Monday evening.
