First Sports Day at King's Bangkok

Yesterday, we hosted our first KS2 (Years 3-6) Sports Day, where students were able to compete in a wide variety of sports, including throw, relay races, sprints, and then four and six hundred-metre races. This house competition was very exciting as each of our four houses, Norman, Tudor, Stuart and Windsor, tried their very best to win. However, we wanted our students to understand the importance of winning and losing gracefully, and that everyone has different talents and abilities, which they will be able to showcase at other events throughout the year. It is also important to us that we include parents in events and school life, so we were thrilled to see so many parents cheering on the sidelines.

There were many excellent performances on the field today; but equally, it was great to see that the children and parents had such an enjoyable afternoon. Thank you to the Sports Department for organising our inaugural Sports Day!
